I’m excited to see this movie. I came across the trailer the other day and had a hard time waiting until Friday to share it with all of you.
While hearing that our food and medicines are making us sick may seem like doom and gloom, I’m inclined to look at it the other way. Think about the control you have in your health and healing. Think about what you can do to make yourself feel better just by eating well.
I think a lot of times in our lives today, it’s easy to feel out of control. But you can take the reigns and have a major positive impact in your health. I think that’s exciting.

As we just discussed, I hate shopping. That does carry over into food shopping too. And I’m kind of a child about it. I need to motivate myself to go with little rewards. In the case of going to the natural foods store, if I go, I let myself buy a natural soda from their fabulous selection. I know that’s weird, and I’m probably sharing too much, but it’s just the way it works. I hardly ever drink soda otherwise. It’s all water or tea.

Did you have a family member who sat in the corner at a party or holiday event, carefully folding up wrapping paper for future use? Maybe it was a grandma or great aunt who lived through the Depression and learned to save anything that was usable, maybe it was just someone who was thrifty and knew how to pinch pennies. What ever the reason behind it, saving wrapping paper makes good green sense.
