Not everyone has a “health food” store near them, and it’s nice to be able to walk into a regular grocery store and pick up “mainstream” food that is reasonably healthy and made with good ingredients.  While I love supporting smaller eco-friendly businesses, it’s also nice to vote with my dollars to say “keep it up” to national brands that are trying to provide healthier options.  If they see there’s a market for such products, maybe they’ll manufacture more.  (more…)

Tip of the Day - Color Code Your Glasses

For two people, we sure wash a lot of glasses in this house. There’s a lot of asking, “Was this your glass or mine?” “Did you drink juice out of this, or was it just water?” and “How long has this been sitting here?” And the solution is often to just put the glass in the dishwasher and get a new one.
