I love Yogi Tea. I’ve mentioned it before.

This afternoon, I really needed a cup of tea. I’ve felt a little off kilter lately. My desk is a mess. The short story I’m working on isn’t going as planned. My dog cut his foot this morning. I have to get my car inspected. There are mountains of laundry to attend to, and piles of paperwork building up.

I decided I would take a moment to breathe and relax and indulge in a cup of Green Tea Kombucha to try to melt my stress away. The tea, however, had other ideas about the situation. (more…)

Tip of the Day - Make Your Own Kitty Litter

My cat is very patient when it comes to changes in her kitty litter. I don’t even have to do the thing where you add a percentage of the new litter to the old litter and up the percentage until you’ve totally switched over. Whatever I put in the litter box, she’ll use. So I’ve been testing out a lot of different natural kitty litters, and honestly, I don’t like most of them. (more…)

I’ve been a little lax about scrubbing the kitchen sink lately. It’s old white porcelain and soaks up stains like nobody’s business. If I keep up with it, a gentle all purpose cleaner is enough to get the stains out, but when I let it go, it’s usually time to bring out the big guns. (more…)
