Stamp Out Hunger Contest

Don’t forget to collect cans for the Stamp Out Hunger food drive coming up on May 10th.
To help raise awareness for the drive, Jorge at M80 was kind enough to send me three prize packs to give away. Each prize pack consists of a Stamp Out Hunger 2008 Calendar and a signed Harlem Globetrotters pennant.
To enter, sign in with a valid e-mail address and leave a comment on this post. The giveaway will close on Sunday, May 11th, at noon (Eastern), and I’ll draw a name out of a hat to determine the winner. The winner will be announced on Monday, May 12th. Comments that appear to be spam will not be counted. Good luck!

I really enjoy the logo for the Stamp Out Hunger program. And the project is pretty cool, too.

Try getting your children involved in picking out the items with you. Its a great way to help them understand that there are more important things than the latest video game. They will also think twice about leaving vegetables on their plate when they know that some children don’t have anything to eat that night.

This is a great idea!
Also, I gave a ton of stuff today.

Michele — I love the idea of getting your kids involved!
Beej — You rock!
I almost didn’t get to give stuff yesterday. The mail came, and the bag was still sitting there. I was about to bring it outside, when I saw the mail lady coming back with her truck to get it. Makes sense. She didn’t want to carry the bags on foot. I’m glad I saw her before I took the bag back in.
