Thanks for this post. My beau and I just joined a CSA and I can't wait for the challenge to use every piece of veggie we get. One more idea to add to your list - POT LUCK PARTIES! My friend said her and another friend are CSA members and they do pot lucks with a local food theme. This way you're cooking more for more people and also getting more varieties of food. I'm probably going to have to skip the CSA this year because of lack of storage space/freezer room, but as soon as I'm back into my own place it's on like Donkey Kong. I'm going to keep your tips handy though and practice on the veggies I get at the market. That way by the time I do join, I'll be a food preservation expert. Thanks for the tips.
