Frontier Simply Organic Pasta Sprinkle

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to win a set of Frontier Organic Herbs and Spices in Dianne’s contest.

I’ve found an excuse to use all of them already and they are all terrific. There’s a noticeably sharper, clearer taste than the major brand herbs and spices I’ve bought in the past, and I like that Frontier herbs and spices come in glass bottles instead of plastic.

But the best of the Frontier bunch is the Simply Organic Pasta Sprinkle. I want to put it on everything! It’s a wonderful combination of dehydrated onion, sesame seeds, lemon thyme, spinach, parsley, and dehydrated garlic. It’s salt-free and full of flavor.

It’s good for more than just pasta. I’ve sprinkled it on pizza, eggs, fish, green beans, quesadillas, and salad. And I think it would be great mixed in light sour cream as a veggie dip.

  1. I haven’t tried this one yet, but it looks amazing! I think it would be great on pizza and pasta, but I could see using it in other things as well! :)

Maybe it was a grandma or great aunt who lived through the Depression and learned to save anything that was usable, maybe it was just someone who was thrifty and knew how to pinch pennies. What ever the reason behind it, saving wrapping paper makes good green sense.
