Cleaning the toilet has got to be one of my least favorite household tasks and I honestly didn’t think anything could make it even remotely enjoyable. Enter Ecover Toilet Bowl Cleaner.

It feels a little silly to get all worked up about toilet bowl cleaner, but this stuff rocks! It has a natural pine scent that’s so fresh it smells like someone ground up a Christmas tree and shoved it in the bottle. It immediately freshened up the bathroom, and got the toilet sparkling in no time.

Squirt some in the toilet and under the rim (the bottle is angled perfectly) and wait a few minutes before you flush. You can scrub if you want to, but I didn’t, and it worked wonderfully.

It’s completely and quickly biodegradable, has a minimal impact on aquatic life, and isn’t tested on animals. The ingredient list is simple: plant based non-ionic tensio-active surfactants, water, citric acid, plant based lactic acid, citrate, natural gum and plant based fragrance (pine type).  It doesn’t leave behind a chemical residue. And the bottle and cap are 100% recyclable.

I have yet to try an Ecover product that I don’t like, but this one is a new favorite. I will be cleaning my toilet constantly just so I can enjoy that fresh pine scent.
