  2. FYI - the dangers of candles link goes to a cell phone recycling link, which I will try and bookmark and remember I did in August when I am planning on getting a new phone…

Also, I’m quite happy that the science backs up my dislike of DST. Also, I’m glad I learned the fun fact about who exactly it was that lobbied to get it extended.

  3. Thanks, Noelle! I fixed it. If anyone’s interested in the cell phone link though — http://www.recyclingforcharities.com/

    DST sucks.

  4. I can go out and pick up some bees wax candles to replace our toxic ones, but that drinking water is kind of hard to get around.

And thanks for giving me another opportunity to point out that Noelle is a DST scrooge. I’m going to really enjoy going for a run after work this week in the light of day.

  5. Oh, and I guess you are too. I will say that that article makes a good point (and one I’ve been pushing for years) that we should just shift our working hours instead of the clock. Either way, give me usable daylight!

  6. I know, the drinking water thing is kind of scary. And it’s not even just from people dumping their pills, it’s from the pills passing through.

Yeah, I’m a DST scrooge too. I’m all for usable daylight, but let me decide to adjust my schedule accordingly.

Tip of the Day

Melt Down Old Candles

If you light candles in your house, you’ll know that there’s a point where there’s still wax left, but the wick is gone.  Recycle the wax and make new candles!
