Rach, do you have any idea how to drill into glass like that? I’d love to make something like those clocks.
those clocks take me back to my Memere’s house, where she had dishes like that she used every day. to me now, those are like, special, one-time-only plates, but she served me my pb and j sandwiches on them and tapioca pudding in little bowls. maybe there was a different sense of presentation for every day life back in the day…
ps. how do you find all these other sites to mention? do you go to a regular list of usuals or do you always try to find new ones? or a combo of both?
shoot, pps - to drill into the glass i am thinking you need a super fine drill, one like a jeweler would use for drilling…a drill press. see this site for an example -
