Brave New Leaf reminds us to plan for Earth Hour this Saturday.

The new Dr. Seuss movie gets a morality rating of 3 due to its eco-friendly message. Yeah. You read that right.

Fake Plastic Fish just saved me from buying a compost tumbler. I think I’m going to go the old fashioned bin route.

Neutral Existence says solar power paint is only 2 1/2 years away.

  1. I really, really need to get a compost bin going, and I’ve been putting it off for a while after my bucket experiment failed. I wonder if I can fashion something out of my kitty litter containers, which come in big buckets.

Tip of the Day

Melt Down Old Candles

If you light candles in your house, you’ll know that there’s a point where there’s still wax left, but the wick is gone.  Recycle the wax and make new candles!
