Erikka: I have a friend who sews and sells reusable pads. There are a lot of people out there doing this, so I'm sure you'll be able to find someone who uses quality materials that are eco friendly!

Al: So...are you gonna be the first to try the baking soda/tea tree combination and give us a review? I'm not volunteering yet!

For awhile now I've been thinking of making the switch over to reuseable pads myself...but thinking it was going to be annoying and time consuming to create, wash, and keep up with the process. Looking over that website for the Africa project totally allayed all my fears and made it all so EASY that I not only will be switching over myself, but making some to donate to the cause.

I'd been hearing about this project for a while, seeing the commercials, but this really made me stop, read, absorb, and get involved. Thanks Allie! Don't be surprised if you are connected soon via link to a post about this project in my blog. :)
