Erikka tells you what you can do with your old bike.

Down to Earth’s seed swap sign up ends today.

Wisebread says Walmart is giving away free reusable shopping bags for Earth Day.

  1. Wow, Walmart giving things away for free? What a novel idea.

  2. That Monsanto article was a doozy. Easily the worst corporation America has ever produced. They make Wal-Mart look like the good guy (although apparently Wal-Mart is helping itself in that regard here today.)

  3. Salmonella does not seem like something that can exist in breakfast cereal, unless said cereal is made with raw eggs, which seems wrong. I guess the lesson is that everything is going to kill us, especially trying to save a buck on morning food. Darn.

  4. NPW — I know, crappy health care, but free bags for everyone! Still, it’s an eco-friendly effort, right? I’m so conflicted on Wal-mart. They really do seem to be trying on taking eco-friendly mainstream, but . . .

Mickey — Monsanto scares the crud out of me.

    Noelle — It won’t kill you — haven’t we determined that you’re a cylon?
