Living Without Meat applauds Girl Scouts refusing the sell cookies to save the orangutans.
Mickey goes on an organic adventure at Target.
Blogfish says that lobster comes with a side of whale.
Urban Hennery hits Vegas and questions the city’s sustainability.
Wisebread has a great hypermiling tip.

I can only hope that if I have children some day, they think and act like those two girls.
Woo, I didn’t know you included links that were sent to you! I just read a few really good articles about solar energy in the Pacific Northwest, I’ll try to find them again.
Also, I though of you today because our school just got $25,000 in solar panels donated by parents, and they voted to pay an extra $5 a month in energy bills to use solar energy instead of gas. Cool, huh?
Erikka — I know! Their parents must be so proud of them!
NPW — Absolutely, send me links. I’d love to include them! That’s awesome about your school! Go parents for voting like that and donating!
Those girl scouts are something else, huh?
I had a feeling I might be getting a link from that Target post. Of course that feeling came long after I’d posted it or else I may have left out the occassional cuss word. Warts and all, I guess.
I enjoyed that other Wisebread hypermiling article you sent me as well as this one. I jumped up to 29.26 mpg on my last tank. 30 mpg, here I come!
