Tip of the Day - Cuddle Up with a Throw Blanket

Even though it’s been warm around here during the day, after the sun goes down, it’s a little chilly. Here are a few simple ways to help put off turning on the heat for a little while longer.
- Dress appropriately. Bundle up and don’t forget to wear socks or slippers. Cold feet make it impossible to keep the rest of you warm.
- Don’t let yourself get cold. It’s harder to get warm than it is to stay warm.
- Make yourself a cup of tea or warm up some cider.
- Cuddle up with a throw blanket when you’re sitting. It’s easier to stay warm while you’re moving about and your blood is pumping, but inactivity can make you chilly. Pull the blanket on as soon as you sit down, even if you’re feeling comfortable so you don’t have a chance to get cold.
