Sometimes, all it takes to make a greener choice is a little planning ahead.

When you’re shipping a package, select ground shipping whenever possible.

According to SimpleSteps.org by the NRDC, shipping ground saves energy and cuts down on pollution.  It also saves you some cash.

Get a calendar (or go paperless and use Google Calendar) to plan out when you need to send out packages for birthdays, deadlines, etc., so you don’t have to put a rush on it at the last minute.  Save overnighting packages for emergencies only.
