Give Out Eco-Friendly Treats at Halloween - UPDATED
Posted on October 18, 2007 by

Okay, so I’m not done with the Halloween tips. It happens to be my favorite holiday. . .
Looking for an eco-friendly treat to give the little ghosts and witches who come to your door? Get a few bags of Dark Chocolate Halloween Treats from Endangered Species Chocolate. They’re free of hydrogenated fats, pesticides and growth hormones, and 10% of the net profits go to help support species, habitat, and humanity. They’re vegan, kosher, and gluten free.
Of course, you could always give out mini boxes of organic raisins, but you don’t really want to be that person, do you?
TIP UPDATE: if you don’t want to keep leftover candy around the house after Halloween is over, donate it. Last year, I sent our leftovers to a local shelter. They were happy to get some treats, and I was happy to be rid of the temptation.
