I just ate breakfast, so nothing sounds all that great to me right now. I did have a salad last night that was really good for some reason. Maybe because I put tomatoes on it. And pretzels.

I am very frugal and against fancy chemicals.
Before entering my shower, I rub baby oil all over, my face, neck and body and more on parts like elbows, knees...followed by a patting of baking soda all over.
While waiting I brush my teeth too with baking soda and rinse with white vinegar. Then I rub all my body, then I take my shower just let the water wash everything.
I do that on an irregular basis...not every morning, but normally after a complete home cleaning generate by a rage!

I have many(12)cats. In the summertime they stay outside a lot, but in winter, they come in to use the litter box (I'm not fond of outhouses myself). This idea of recycling newspaper sounds pretty good to me. I almost dislocated my shoulder lifting forty-pound boxes of bargain litter from Sam's Club. I'm going to try it.

Avocados are definitely on my favorite foods list as well. Oh, and baby carrots with hummus. I am addicted. (If only I weren't also addicted to so many bad-for-me things, I'd be doing a lot better with this "sensible eating" goal!)

We have local pickles called "Spacey Tracey's." They're quite good, although I feel like I never think to eat pickles, even though I love them.

Last year a friend of mine experimented with making his own after getting a bumper crop of cucumbers, and all I have to say is that I wish he had waited to share with me until he had experimented some more. I think I can still taste the garlic.

Gotta admit--I'm having a hard time giving up the Claussens for organic pickles. They just don't measure up, but I haven't tried Woodstock Farms yet. I wonder if anyone here carries them--I'll have to look.
