Tip of the Day - Join The Growing Challenge

I just joined Elements in Time’s Growing Challenge, and you should too (even if you don’t have a garden)! All you have to do is plant something from seed (even if it’s just a windowsill herb garden) or a pot of strawberries for your patio. Plant one more thing that you did last year, and post about gardening once a week.
Elements in Time has some great reasons for joining the challenge:
“Here’s what a challenge will do for you:
it will push you harder,
it will keep you going when you run out of steam,
it will regularly remind you to keep up with what’s important to you,
it will give you a network for finding out more,
it will help you move toward a goal of becoming more frugal, sustainable, and self-sufficient, and
it will make you feel like a part of a group of people all moving toward the same goal.”
Go leave a comment to sign up, then go start some seeds. Even if you have a black thumb, give it a try. Seeds are cheap. So is dirt. You really don’t have much to loose.

I’m in! Sign me up. I love talking gardening. Not only did my beau and I join a CSA, I just learned I’ll be getting a plot in a community garden. Woot woot! The garden is having renovations done, so we’ll get a late start in June, but I am so excited just to have some green space available!
Good luck Allie with the challenge.

Yay! That’s awesome that you’re getting a plot! I just spend the whole day gardening and I am exhausted, but oh so happy. I never understood why people like gardening before.
