Tip of the Day - Sign Up for Green Energy
Every year, about this time, we get a letter from the power company telling us about our energy options for the following year.
If you have the option, sign up for green energy, usually generated from wind or solar power. If your power supplier doesn’t contact you about making the switch, give them a call. If they don’t offer green power in your neck of the woods, ask them why, and tell them it’s something you’re interested in.
Getting power from green sources can have a major positive impact, and aside from a slight difference in rates (possibly) it’s a change you won’t even notice.
