I just saw something on the news about how people are drilling wells in GA so they don't have to adhere to drought restrictions, but water is water. Wasting well water isn't any better than wasting municipal water.

We have a lot of compulsive lawn water-ers around here too. Don't they watch the weather? I have only watered my lawn once this whole summer (because it was totally about to give up the ghost) but it's as green as everyone else's now. Grass recovers.

And, Noelle, you are too funny!

Maybe it was my neighbor?

I live in the upper midwest and in the last two months we have been fortunate to have had a lot of rain. I mean A LOT of rain.

Still, my neighbor was watering his lawn last week after about 10 straight rainy days. He doesn't quite comprehend that even though he has a well, and is not PAYING for the water, it's still not o.k.

I saw a guy hosing down the car wash entrance over the weekend. Sometimes, it's like, "yeah, we deserve to die as a species."
